
For the 2024–2025 academic year, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) JUPEB entrance form for the School of Foundation Studies is currently accessible. This is an opportunity for you to gain direct admission to UNILAG and other esteemed universities’ 200-level degree programs. It is provided in collaboration with prominent universities such as the University of Bedfordshire, the University of Central Lancashire, and many more.
Admission for 2024–2025 at the School of Foundation Studies
Applications for the University of Lagos’ School of Foundation Studies for the 2024/2025 academic year are now being accepted from adequately qualified individuals. Highly successful applicants may be admitted directly into UNILAG’s second year of degree programs after clearing an exam given by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB). Furthermore, admission to partner universities in the UK and China is an option. These include the Universities of Birmingham, Nottingham, Aberdeen, and many more.

Admission Conditions
You need to have at least five credits—English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects—obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L, or NECO exams in order to be eligible for enrollment.
Application Process
To finish your application for the School of Foundation Studies, take the following actions:
- For additional information regarding the sale of application forms, go visit the School of Foundation Studies website.
- Go to the application website.
- From the option for prospective students, select “School of Foundation Studies.”
- For Direct Entry admission, review the subject combinations that are pertinent to your selected course of study. Take note of any modifications to earlier pairings.
- To get a payment reference number (PRN), fill out the Pre-Application Form using the names that appear on your birth certificate and other pertinent papers.
- Use the PRN to pay ₦35,000 (bank costs excluded) at any commercial bank in Nigeria.
- Go back to the application page and sign in using your lowercase surname as the password and the PRN as your username.
- Fill out the application and print two copies for your documentation.
- One week before to the exam date, you can access your exam pass online. Make a copy for your own use.
Crucial Dates:
- The application period is open from Monday, May 13, 2024, until Friday, August 9, 2024.
- The University of Lagos’s Distance Learning Institute (DLI) will host the entrance exam on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Exam Specifics
Multiple-choice questions will be included in the computer-based entrance exam:
- Mathematics: 20 questions
- English Language: 20 questions
- Three more pertinent topics, each with fifteen questions
In 45 minutes, these 85 questions will be answered. For the entrance exam, candidates who choose Mathematics as one of their three subject combinations must select Further Mathematics.
Outcomes: The UNILAG website will host the merit admission results.
