Despite the challenges of catching up on missed courses and adapting to a new field, Betsy found joy in learning and proved to herself that she could accomplish what once seemed impossible. She emphasized that her degree symbolizes her perseverance and determination.
In addition to her academic achievements, Betsy excelled in extracurricular activities. She served as the Secretary of the CodeBlooded Society, managing the university’s tech club, and participated in a research team that led her school to victory at the Babcock Techxplore Event. She was also an active member of the COSSA Volleyball Team throughout her time at university.
Betsy credited her success to the unwavering support of her family and friends. She expressed immense gratitude to her parents for trusting her decisions and to her younger brother for his constant encouragement. In her closing thoughts, Betsy shared an empowering message: “Grass will always be green where you water it,” and thanked God for His guidance.
