50 worthy students have received scholarships totalling more than ₦20 million from Hezekiah University thanks to the kindness of its proprietor and the Archbishop of Living Christ Mission, Inc., Prof. Daddy Hezekiah.

Prof. Okere claims that the scholarship program helps students from different departments and faculties, with each recipient getting ₦100,000 a year to help with their studies. He underlined that the program’s objectives are to support academic achievement, cultivate bright futures, and enhance education in Nigeria as a whole.

Prof. Okere, a former vice-chancellor of Imo State University, emphasised the institution’s dedication to employee welfare and said that the proprietor had authorised staff promotions in order to raise morale and increase output.

Prof. Okere spoke ahead of the university’s inaugural convocation ceremony on March 8 and said he was certain that both staff and students will be ready to make it an unforgettable occasion.

The vice chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Prof. Aloysius-Micheals Okolie, will give a keynote address as part of the convocation events. “Paradigm Shift, Soliloquy, and Fungibility of Stemming the Tide of Education Lullaby in Tertiary Education in Nigeria: Opportunities Missed and Paths Not Taken” is the title of his talk.

“I consider it a privilege to serve as Vice-Chancellor during this historic convocation of our great university, which firmly stands by its motto: academic excellence with good morals,” said Prof. Okere, who was reflecting on the milestone. Knowing that our exceptional graduates will be excellent representatives of this university, we are excited to introduce them to the world.

In addition to numerous events leading up to the main event, the week-long celebration will begin on March 5 with an Alumni Induction and student lecture. On March 6, graduates and undergraduates will play a novelty football match.
