JAMB Announces 2025 UTME Registration and Examination Dates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed the registration and examination schedules for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Registration will be open from January 15 to February 26, 2025, with the main examination scheduled from April 18 to April 28, 2025.

Requirements for 2025 UTME Candidates
Prospective candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. National Identification Number (NIN): Obtain an 11-digit NIN from a NIMC enrollment center or via the NIMC mobile app. This is necessary for creating a JAMB profile.
2. JAMB Profile Code: Send your NIN via text to 55019 or 66019 to receive a 10-digit JAMB Profile Code.
3. Phone Number and Email: A valid phone number and email address are required for profile creation and updates.
4. Academic Qualifications: Have O’level or A’level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) available. Candidates awaiting results can apply but must upload final results before admission.
5. ePIN and Fees:
   • ePIN Purchase: N3,500 from authorized outlets, including banks or online platforms.
   • Additional Fees: N700 for registration, N1,500 for the UTME exam, and N1,500 for the optional Mock-UTME.
6. Personal Information and Biometric Verification: Provide personal details, undergo biometric verification, and submit a passport photograph and signature.

Steps to Register for JAMB 2025

1. Obtain your NIN.
2. Visit www.jamb.gov.ng to create your profile.
3. Verify your profile with the confirmation code sent to your phone/email.
4. Purchase your ePIN.
5. Visit a JAMB-approved CBT center with your ePIN, NIN, O’level results, passport photograph, and required documents.
6. Complete the registration form, select an examination date, and undergo biometric verification.
7. Print your registration slip, which includes your details, exam schedule, and center.

Important Dates:

• Mock-UTME: March 7, 2025 (mock slip reprinting starts April 10, 2025)
• Main UTME: April 18 – 28, 2025
• Results Release: April 30, 2025
