This competition offers young brains a platform to express their ideas and opinions on important modern topics; it’s more than just a competition. You can explore important subjects and contribute your viewpoints and possible answers by taking part.
Interesting Essay Subjects to Consider
Participants are encouraged to discuss any of the following stimulating essay subjects:
Concerns about the environment, society, and governance (ESG):
- Find a local community issue that is related to ESG. Talk about its importance and offer remedies.
Nigeria’s Economic Difficulties
- Examine the consequences of current events on Nigeria’s economy and offer possible solutions.
The Significance of Inclusive Finance
- Explain inclusive finance and discuss how Emerging Africa Capital, a finance and investment organization, may make a major impact in this field.
Awards: Appreciation and Benefits Are Expected
There will be three winners in each of the competition’s nine categories.
- N1,500,000 was won.
- First Place: N1,000,000
- N500,000 for second runner-up
Conditions of Participation
To qualify, make sure you fulfill the following requirements:
- Eligibility: At the time of submission, you must be a senior in secondary school.
- Essay Length: A 1000-word essay is the maximum length allowed.
- Prize Distribution: Emerging Dreams Trust will oversee the management of monetary awards and distribute them by your academic success.
- Originality Check: Every essay will be checked for AI and plagiarism, and any that includes plagiarism will be disqualified.
- Submission Format: Send in your essay in PDF format and the necessary personal information using a Google Form.
- Language and Formatting: Essays must be written in the English language, with justified alignment, double line spacing, and Century Gothic font size 11.
- FirstName–LastName–Question–Number.pdf is the format to use for file names (e.g., Sarah-Ayomide-1.pdf).
- The essay must be turned in by March 31st. We won’t consider late entries.
- Evaluation Standards: Originality, creativity, coherence, grammar, and adherence to the question or theme are all taken into consideration while judging essays.
- Making Judgments: Organizational choices are final.
