Kind-Hearted Prince Pays Fees For 27 Needy KNUST Students

By sacrificially covering the tuition fees of 27 impoverished students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Nana Opoku Ware, the progeny of Asantehene Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, has garnered numerous admirers. To mitigate the financial hardships faced by these disadvantaged students, Opoku Ware, a level 400 law student at the Ghanaian institution, funded their education personally.

When the news was shared by the Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix, a multitude of people were moved by the uplifting act of generosity. Regarding Nana’s future philanthropic endeavours, Zionfelix emphasized his dedication to education support.

A section of the post states:

“The Ashanti people hold in high regard the attributes of compassion and unity, which are exemplified by Nana’s plans for future endeavours and his commitment to schooling. His endeavours genuinely exemplify the ethos of community service and effectuate a constructive influence on the well-being of others,”

This exhibition of empathy is in continuation of a recent contribution of $60,000 to a fundraising campaign for the preservation of the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York City, which was made possible by the music label of renowned singer Alicia Keys. Furthermore, Shatta Bandle, an internet sensation, awarded GH2,000 to the deserving winner of the YMF Junior High School Quiz. The kind and generous deed performed by Nana Opoku Ware elicited profound appreciation from online users, who expressed their admiration in the comments section.
