LASU Becomes 2nd Most Subscribed Nigerian University
The 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Application Statistics by Institutions, issued by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Wednesday, 17th July 2024, provides this information.
Based on JAMB data, 62,601 applicants selected LASU as their first choice institution, ranking it second behind the University of Ilorin, which had 64,143 candidates.
The recent ranking of LASU shows an improvement from the 2023 numbers, when the institution ranked third with over 55,000 applications. Before 2023, the university had never appeared on the list of the top 10 most enrolled institutions in Nigeria.
The fact that LASU has become the second most popular institution in Nigeria demonstrates its dedication.
