Three Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) members earned master’s degrees from Lagos State University (LASU), garnering praise and discussion on social media.

At LASU’s 28th convocation, 2023/2024 graduates Lolade Weath Lagwan, Nurudin Mudashiru Eniafe, and Macarthy Olatunji Alade received their degrees.
RTEAN’s Facebook photos of the graduates went viral, with many people surprised and proud. Several commenters thought the men were commercial drivers, which was unconfirmed.
Others urged RTEAN to provide more instruction and enlightenment, while others complimented the men’s determination to study despite their transport union affiliation.
User responses on Facebook:
“If all these ones are learnt, who are those agberos we still have outside with no composure? Spread enlightenment.”
Gift it to RTEAN, says Aiyepola Abayomi. They have several academically accomplished members. This is good.”
Daniel Tagbe: “Congrats Eniafe!” He was our Katsina CLO. Am proud.” Three RTEAN members demonstrate the power of personal growth and lifelong learning, regardless of job or background.
