The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) officially releases the results of the Internal Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) for June/July 2024.
Examination Period: Held from July 18 to August 3, 2024, with a total of 40,753 applicants (an increase from 33,922 in 2023), including 9,399 students in Science. Candidates for Tahfeez/Tajweed: 4,084
Overall pass rate: 71% attained credit in five major disciplines. Pass percentage for science subjects: 62% achieved credit. Kano Zone has the greatest proportion of credit passes in Tahfeez and Tajweed, marking it as the top-performing zone.
NBAIS expresses gratitude to all stakeholders for their cooperation during the June/July 2023 Examinations, particularly the Federal Ministry of Education, State Ministries of Education, Arabic boards, Departments and Bureaus, the FCT Education Secretariat, Security Personnel, and the Media.
The findings underscore the commitment of students and the significance of Arabic and Islamic studies. We extend our sincere congratulations to all applicants for their accomplishments.
