Admission to newly authorized BSU programs begins 2024/2025.
Candidates and the public are advised that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has authorized courses in the Benue State University’s aforementioned faculties for the 2024/2025 academic year.
After NUC approval, the University requests that 2024 JAMB UTME candidates with relevant subjects and aggregate scores who want to enroll in any of the new programmes visit the nearest JAMB CBT office to change their institution to Benue State University (as first choice) and choose their programme. Candidates who chose Benue State University as their initial option with applicable prerequisites might change to any of the underlisted programs;
FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE
- B.Sc Architecture
- B.Sc Landscape Architecture
- B.Sc Interior Design
ENTRY SPECIFICS
Candidates must have 5 O’Level credits in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, and Economics in two sittings.
UTME subject combinations: English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts, or Technical Drawing.
FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA STUDIES
- B.Sc Advertising
- B.Sc Broadcasting
- B.Sc Development Communication Studies
- Journalism and Media Studies
- B.Sc Public Relations
- B.Sc Strategic Communications
ENTRY SPECIFICS
Candidates must have 5 O’Level credits in English, Mathematics, English Literature, and two additional courses at two sittings.
Use English and any other Arts or Social Science disciplines for UTME.
NOTE:
Candidates may make the adjustment by Saturday, September 21, 2024, in preparation for the 2024/2025 admissions process.
