OOU’s Former RCF President Addresses His Same-Sex Marriage.

Jimmy Adekoya, the former president of Olabisi Onabanjo University’s (OOU) Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF), has responded to criticism when it was revealed that he was engaged to a white guy.

According to earlier reports, the OOU graduate had proposed to his partner after moving overseas. Both men were seen in suits in pictures that have gone viral online, with Adekoya showing off his engagement ring with pride.

Many criticised him for his decision, especially considering his prior leadership position in a Christian group, when the announcement caused a stir.

Taking to social media, Adekoya responded to the criticism by saying that his only “offence” was being a gay man who also loves Jesus.

He stated, “When being a gay man who loves Jesus is your only transgression.”
