Prominent Fuji and hip-hop artist Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma attended the Chicago graduation ceremony of his daughter Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola with great pride.
In 2024, Aliyah graduated from the School of Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Additionally, she received recognition through the Academic Achievement Programme as a member of the 2024 cohort. The ceremony took place at the Tryon Festival Theatre of the Krannert Centre for the Performing Arts.
Pasuma honoured his daughter’s achievement by posting a video to his Instagram account in which he conveyed his sincere appreciation and delight.
“Haliamdulilahi Robin Al’amin, my daughter Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola recently received her honours degree from the University of Illinois Urbana Champagne Chicago. He composed, “Modupe Olohun Oba, anu nimori gba, kii shagbara.”
