Anthracene-9-carboxylic acid is a Cl- transport inhibitor with a moderate to strong inhibitory action on PKA activated cardiac IcI.

Solubility

Soluble to 10 mm in ethanol and to 100 mm in DMSO. Soluble in benzene, chloroform, and hydronaphthalenes. Insoluble in water.
