These ingredients are sodium alginate and potassium hydrogen carbonate and they work as reflux suppressants. This means that they form a layer over the contents of the stomach, keeping excess stomach acid from moving up into your food pipe and causing irritation.
How to take Gaviscon Advance Liquid
Shake the bottle well. Measure 5 ? 10ml of Gaviscon Advance Liquid and take after meals and at bedtime. If you?re still experiencing symptoms of heartburn or acid reflux, after 7 days of use, speak to your doctor for advice or contact our pharmacists through our contact form.
