Novidat tablet 250 mg 10?s is used in the treatment of Community-Acquired Pneumonia which is a most common type of lung infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae.

Bronchitis
Novidat tablet 250 mg 10?s is used in the treatment of bronchitis which is an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and some Mycoplasma Pneumonia.

Pyelonephritis

General Warnings

Tendinitis and tendon rupture
Use of Novidat tablet 250 mg 10?s will increase the risk to develop tendinitis or tendon rupture during the treatment or several months after treatment. It will affect the shoulder, hand, the back of your ankle, or other parts of your body. The risk is more if you are above 60 years of age and have a history of kidney, heart, or lung transplant and joint disease. You are also at high risk if you are on corticosteroids like dexamethasone, methylprednisolone or prednisone.

Drug-resistance
Usage of Novidat tablet 250 mg 10?s without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. It may also increase the risk of development of bacteria that is drug resistant.

Alternative treatment
Novidat tablet 250 mg 10?s will increase the risk of developing serious side effects. It should reserved for use only if you have no alternative treatment options for acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis or uncomplicated cystitis.

Diarrhea
