SS2 students brutally assault a teacher and put him in a coma.

A startling development occurred when students from Ebira Muslim Community College Okengwe (EMCCO) in Okene LGA, Kogi State, allegedly attacked their physics instructor, Mr. Muktar Salihu, causing him to go into a coma.

According to reports, Abdulbatin, a senior secondary school (SS2) student and the son of a well-known local traditional leader, spearheaded the attack. The teacher apparently collapsed as a result of the pupils’ aggressive attacks and humiliation. He is presently undergoing treatment at an unnamed medical facility.

The District Police Officer has stepped in to address the situation after the occurrence caused indignation in the community. Officials have mandated that the traditional leader bring his son, Abdulbatin, in for interrogation.
