Stanford University Student Earns Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees Together
Cameron Adam, a Stanford University student, accomplished something spectacular. She simultaneously received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Cameron majored in Political Science with Economics and Law emphases and majors in French and Data Science. She earned a master’s in Communication with minors in Digital Media Studies and Journalism.
Amazingly, she did all this in four years at Stanford. Cameron says her friends and network made the experience fun and energizing.
She said her studies matched her desires. Cameron felt that her community and French studies gave her real-world governing views.
Cameron examined poetic politicians’ talent of creating postcolonial, autonomous cultures and institutions. She assessed these institutions’ community impact using Data Science. Her Political Science degree enabled her to adapt classic governing strategies to modern concerns.
Cameron used communication studies to monitor and promote institutional accountability. She is grateful to have studied her preferred disciplines at a good university.
Cameron recalled her unusual academic career, which includes a year of Zoom learning due to the pandemic, major changes in her junior year, and off-campus programs in Paris, Florence, and New York. She thinks these events boost Stanford’s prestige.
Cameron met amazing people who supported her via late-night FaceTime talks, hikes, last-minute travels, and many dining hall dinners. She was grateful to those who supported her and introduced her to new friends who enhanced her experience.
Cameron said Stanford University gave her connections, mentorships, education, empowerment, and self-awareness. Researchers should strive to interact with others, she suggests.
