A heartwarming video captures the emotional moment a corps member, @Cutedhera, bids farewell to her students after completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at a secondary school.
When the pupils found out she was going, they were obviously sad and started crying, showing how much they loved her. She can be seen in the film consoling the pupils and giving out thank-you presents, such as boxes of cookies, as a parting gift.
Sharing the video, she reflected on the bittersweet experience, writing: “I felt a whirlwind of emotions during my final PPA visit as my students poured their hearts out, tears flowing freely. I’m grateful for God’s blessings, success, and strength throughout this journey. Though I never liked NYSC, leaving these students made me realize how much I’ll miss them. Their genuine display of love made it a bittersweet farewell, and their tears spoke volumes about the bond we shared.”
