
This is to notify the public that registration for the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State Supplementary Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening for admission into newly approved programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC) will open on Friday, December 22, 2023, and close on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Applicants May Apply for the FUNAI Concession Form
- Interested applicants may apply if they met the minimum score requirement of 150 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and indicated Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State as their first choice university while applying for admission.
- Before applying, candidates must take into account the combinations of their O’Level and JAMB UTME subjects.
- Candidates who want to apply for advertised programs must update their courses on the JAMB portal.
- Candidates need to evaluate the program cut-off mark.

- Prospective candidates who scored a minimum of 200 marks for Nursing Science, 180 marks for Medical Laboratory Science, and 150 marks for other newly approved programs in the 2023 UTME and did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution but wish to study in AE-FUNAI are also eligible to apply for PUTME screening. On Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the latest, these applicants must use the JAMB Portal to Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI.
- A single sitting is required for candidates in the Nursing Science program to acquire their O-level results.
- Prospective candidates may attend the University CBT Center in Zone A on the University Campus OR the Center for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), located in Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki if they would want to register for the Post-UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centers.
- It is recommended that applicants utilize readily available GSM numbers while registering. This is necessary for simple and quick communication.
- Applicants should be aware that their applications will be immediately rejected if any incorrect information is found or detected during the screening and admission process.
