
This is to notify the public that registration for the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State Supplementary Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening for admission into newly approved programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC) will open on Friday, December 22, 2023, and close on Friday, January 12, 2024.
Applicants May Apply for the FUNAI Concession Form
- Interested applicants may apply if they met the minimum score requirement of 150 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and indicated Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State as their first choice university while applying for admission.
- Before applying, candidates must take into account the combinations of their O’Level and JAMB UTME subjects.
- Candidates who want to apply for advertised programs must update their courses on the JAMB site.
- Candidates need to evaluate the program cut-off point.

- Prospective students who did not select AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution but still wish to study there and obtained a minimum of 200 marks for Nursing Science, 180 marks for Medical Laboratory Science, and 150 marks for other newly approved programs in the 2023 UTME are also eligible to apply for PUTME screening. On Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the latest, these applicants must use the JAMB Portal to Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI.
- A single sitting is required for candidates in the Nursing Science program to acquire their O-level results.
- Prospective candidates may attend the University CBT Center in Zone A on the University Campus OR the Center for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), located in Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki if they would want to register for the Post-UTME via the AE-FUNAI ICT Centers.
- It is recommended that applicants utilize readily available GSM numbers while registering. This is necessary for simple and quick communication.
- Applicants should be aware that their applications will be immediately rejected if any incorrect information is found or detected during the screening and admission process.
How to Fill Out the Supplementary Application Form for FUNAI
Interested candidates must get the application form via the AE-FUNAI supplemental admission site and pay the processing charge of N2,000.00, which is the sole amount necessary.
It is important to note that applicants are urged to visit http://www.funai.edu.ng to learn more about the O’Level subject requirements and JAMB UTME criteria for the listed programs.
Registration Methods
- The processing cost for qualified applicants is N2,000 only.
- To sign up, do the actions listed below:
- Visit the university’s website at www.funai.edu.ng, and choose QUICK LINKS or ADMISSIONS from the top menu.
- Select the Supplementary UTME Admission Screening for 2023–2024 option.
- Select “Potential Students.”
- Under 2023/2024 Supplementary Admission Screening Application, choose “Click to Apply.”
- Your “JAMB Registration Number” is entered.
- Choose your preferred method of payment (Remita Retrieval Reference Number generated).
- Use your Remita number to make a payment at any bank.
- Once again, enter your “JAMB Registration Number” on the application page.
- Complete the form as soon as possible.
- Send in your application.
- Get your acknowledgment slip printed.
SCREENING MODE
- The method of screening for the Supplementary PUTME for the 2023–2024 academic session will be an internal review of the applicants’ results.
- A computer-based test (CBT) supplement to the PUTME will not be offered. On or by Thursday, January 11, 2024, all applicants are kindly asked to make sure that their O/Level results are posted on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
- No Supplementary PUTME application would be accepted if the O’Level results are not posted to JAMB CAPS.
