Miss Evans Godstime, a University of Benin 200-level accounting student, passed away. According to CampusGist, Miss Godstime has been dealing with complications from a major surgery and severe kidney cancer.
Recently, her family and University of Benin students used social media to generate money for her medical care. Sadly, though, Godstime has fallen victim to the illness.
Godstime had surgery to remove her right kidney in November. Unfortunately, the other kidney became infected as the cancer spread.

She reportedly passed away at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after being sent there for additional care from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
Miss Evans Godstime served as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the University of Benin chapter of the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students Association (NUASA) until her passing.
Her former PRO was a “vibrant, dedicated, and passionate student leader who served with excellence and commitment,” according to a condolence message from NUASA.
We will never forget all she has done for NUASA and her university community. We all suffer greatly from her abrupt departure,” the student body lamented.
