UNIPORT 2024/2025 Academic Calendar Released
The University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) has published the approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. Below are the key dates for both new and returning students:
First Semester
- Sunday, 24th November, 2024: Returning students arrive.
- Monday, 25th November, 2024: Registration and lectures commence for returning students.
- Sunday, 1st December, 2024: Fresh students arrive.
- Monday, 2nd December, 2024: Pre-Resumption Registration for fresh students begins.
- Monday, 9th December, 2024: Lectures commence for fresh students.
- 23rd December, 2024 – 5th January, 2025: Christmas Break.
- Friday, 10th January, 2025: Deadline for payment of charges.
- Tuesday, 21st January, 2025: Orientation for fresh students.
- Friday, 11th January, 2025: Matriculation Ceremony.
- 17th March – 11th April, 2025: First Semester Examinations.
- 14th – 25th April, 2025: First Semester Break.
Second Semester
- Sunday, 27th April, 2025: All students return to campus.
- Monday, 28th April, 2025: Second Semester Lectures commence.
- Friday, 30th May, 2025: Deadline for second installment payments.
- 28th July – 1st August, 2025: Revision week.
- 11th August – 12th September, 2025: Second Semester Examinations.
- 15th – 26th September, 2025: Long vacation for students.
