Cut-off marks, eligibility, and registration for YUMSUK Post-UTME/DE 2024

All candidates who selected Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano as their first choice in the 2024 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applications for admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) should register online for the Screening Exercise at http://www.yumsuk.edu.ng from Monday 2 September 2024 to Sunday 22 September 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates need:

1. First choice: Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano.
2. Obtained five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics, in SSCE (or Equivalent) in two sittings for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates.
3. Scored a minimal acceptable program score as shown below.

Direct entry (DE) candidates must:

1. Have 2024 DE Online Registration Slip.
2. Have ND, IJMB, or NCE.
3. Minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science-based and 3.5 for Art-Based ND programs.
4. Have at least 9 NCE points.
5. Minimum 7 marks in Science-Based IJMB programs, 8 in Art and Social Science.

Guidelines for registration:

1. Click on “2024 ADMISSION PORTAL” on the University’s website http://yumsuk.edu.ng to register for the Aptitude Test or DE Screening.

Bank 2. Candidates should generate a REMITA payment invoice from the site and pay online or at any nationwide location for 2,000 NAIRA (screening fees) alone.

3. Candidates should return to the Portal to register and print an Acknowledgment Slip to provide with additional credentials during the Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening.
