Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal has cleared years of unpaid exams debts, prompting WAEC and NECO to release withheld results. Thousands of students in Zamfara State have finally gotten their much anticipated Senior Secondary Certificate Examination SSCE results after five years of agonizing academic uncertainty.
Numerous students were unable to pursue further education or career possibilities because the debts, which were acquired between 2014 and 2018 for NECO and between 2018 and 2022 for WAEC, were not paid off by succeeding governments.

By rekindling the academic ambitions of impacted students and reviving trust in public education, the publication of these delayed results marks a sea change in Zamfara’s educational scene.
With this significant achievement, Governor Lawal has not only righted a serious wrong but also established a solid basis for Zamfara State’s long-term educational progress and youth empowerment.
