With great joy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) announces the dates for its prestigious 17th Convocation ceremonies.

This important ceremony honoring the class of 2021–2022 is a historic milestone for the awarding of First and Higher Degrees, as well as Honorary Degrees.

The dates of the ceremonies are scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2023, through Friday, December 8, 2023.

• Interdenominational Service
  • Venue: University Auditorium

Tuesday, 5th December 2023

• Prize Presentation
  • Identifying the top-performing students in the class of graduates.
  • Venue: University Auditorium
  • Time: 2.00 pm

Wednesday, 6th December 2023

• Convocation Lecture
  • Speaker: Prof. Ishag Olarenwaiu Olovede, Registrar, Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB)
  • Chairman: Prof. Chinedu Nebo, Vice-Chancellor, University on the Niger, Umunya, Anambra State
  • Topic: “Mainstreaming Uncertainty”

Thursday, 7th December 2023

• First Degrees Award Ceremony
