Admission Conditions
Regarding B.A. (Ed) and B.Sc. (Ed):
- Candidates with a Diploma or NCE: Must have a diploma or NCE in a related field of study with at least an Upper/Lower Credit. Furthermore, five (5) SSCE credits are needed.
- Candidates who have taken the SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB must have earned at least five (5) credits, including English and mathematics.
Regarding PGDE:
- A degree, HND, or equivalent from an accredited university in any discipline is the general requirement.
Technique of Utilization
Candidates who are interested in these programs can apply by doing the following:
Payment for the Application Form:
- Check out www.remita.net.
- Go to “Pay a Federal Government Agency” and select.
- Put “University of Jos” in the MDA Name field.
- Under Service/Purpose, select “Institute of Education.“
- Fill out the required fields to produce RRR.
- The application form costs N10,000.00, which must be paid.
Form Submission and Gathering:
- Online forms are available at portal.unijos.edu.ng, the University Web Portal.
- As an alternative, stop by the University’s Institute of Education Finance Office.
- By July 7th, 2024, completed forms and photocopies of credentials must be sent to:

Important Information for Prospective Students
- Candidates who possess an NCE, diploma, or IJMB now have a 4-year length.
- Graduates of secondary schools are qualified for the part-time program.
- At the University’s Bauchi Road site, the Institute of Education has reopened for business.
