General Details for Recent Graduates

• Students from all programs who graduated during the 2021–2022 academic year are eligible to attend the event. Verify your name on the university website, www.eksu.edu.ng, please.
• Academic Robes: Monday, March 18, 2024, is when collection begins. Make sure you pay the required fees (bank commission excluded) to the faculty officers or secretaries of the colleges or programs to pick up your robe.

How to Pay for University Robes

• Online Payment: Go to the EKSU Portal, choose Transcript/Certificate, set up a profile, and then proceed with the application process to apply for a certificate according to your degree and year of graduation. Pay using your ATM card and make a note of the transaction for your records.
• Notice: EKSU does not support payments made to other parties. Keep your payment information secure to prevent fraud.
• Submission Deadline: By Friday, April 5, 2024, academic gowns must be returned. There will be a penalty charge for any loss or damage.

Obtaining Certificates at Convocation

Upon completion of their clearing, graduates may pick up their diplomas right away after the convocation. To prevent further fines, make sure the required payments are paid by March 25, 2024, at the latest.

Requirements for Collection:

• Original Statement of Result or Notification of Result
• Student’s Identity Card or a Letter of Identification from the Department
• Two Recent Passport Photographs
• Evidence of Payment of Prescribed Fees
• Evidence of Clearance from the University
