By keeping his word to restore a run-down school, well-known American streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat has brought happiness to Makoko, a seaside community in Lagos state.
The touching project was inspired by Kai’s visit to the riverine community when he was struck by the deplorable state of the kids’ classrooms.
Kai Cenat followed through on his promise to enhance the learning environment by donating $2,800 to begin the school renovation project.
According to recent reports, construction has officially started. Pictures and videos of the current refurbishment are making the rounds on the internet.
The much-needed repair of the school building has been made possible by Kai Cenat’s kind contribution of $2.8k, or 3.9 million Naira, according to a tweet from @Kaimafiaupdates.
Both the local community and internet supporters have expressed their thanks and appreciation for the project’s launch.
