The Technical Skill Development Programme is a comprehensive seven-month training project that is led by Nigerian Breweries Plc in collaboration with the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), and other partners. You will graduate from this non-residential program with employable, in-demand mechanical, automation, and engineering maintenance abilities.

Program Specifics

The ITF-NECA program, in partnership with Nigerian Breweries, seeks to equip young Nigerians with technical and scientific skills that are marketable to employers. Participants work at different brewery facilities after completing training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries. The Technical Skills Development Programme guarantees that you will obtain practical experience and exposure to industry, even though you will not be paid while doing training. Rather, you will receive food, free tuition, and a monthly stipend.

Qualifications

In order to be eligible for this chance, you need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • Earn credits in chemistry, physics, English language, and math.
  • Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent from a recognized school, requiring at least a Lower Credit. Mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, electrical/electronic engineering, chemical engineering, and other related subjects are relevant.
  • Must not have graduated before 2020.
  • Successfully fulfilled the NYSC requirements by the application deadline.
