For the academic year 2024/2025, the North-Eastern University (NEU) Post–UTME/Direct Entry form is now accessible. NEU, formerly known as Pen Resource University, Gombe, is pleased to announce its openings for admission to a variety of degree programs. It is the first private university in Gombe State and the third in the North East Region.
Opportunities for Direct Entry and Transfer
- For the faculties of law, communication, management and social sciences, science and computing, and communication, direct entry (DE) and transfer applicants are welcome to enter at the 300 Level.
- Students from DE and transfer programs may also enrol in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at the 200 Level.

The Requirements for UTME Applicants
- Filled out the NEU application
- JAMB UTME results or A-Level prerequisites
- Exam results from school leaving exams (IGCSE, WASSCE, NECO, etc.)
- Transcripts from high school (SS1, SS2, SS3)
- Letters of recommendation or endorsements from principals or school counsellors
- A copy of a secondary school ID, a national identity card, or an international passport
- A personal essay outlining your goals and the reasons you chose NEU
