Accesspreneur Business Plan Competition Winner UDUS Graduate Wins 1 Million Naira
Abdullahi Nasiru, a 23-year-old UDUS graduate and NYSC recruit, won the Accesspreneur Business Plan Competition.
The Access Bank-sponsored competition, held with the NYSC Gombe State Chapter, encourages corps members to become entrepreneurs.
The judges loved Abdullahi’s aquarium and fish farming business proposal, which won him one million naira.
The program gives N100,000 to N1 million in cash awards to help corps members start companies.
Gombe State Coordinator Chinwe Nnenna Nwachuku praised the program for encouraging corps members to self-develop for safe futures.
Due to his accounting expertise, fish farming experience, and fellow graduate Ashir Adam’s encouragement, Abdullahi won.
He plans to utilize the award money to start an aquarium and fish farm to reduce unemployment and make money.
