UNILORIN Expels Two, Rusticates Three for Misconduct
Five students were reprimanded by the University of Ilorin for campus misbehavior.
Two students, Olayoonu Amos from Human Kinetics and Ibrahim Taoheed from Education Management, were expelled, while three others, Olabanji Toluwanimi David from Communication and Information Science, Dosunmu Ezekiel Olabanji from Marketing, and Obadairo-Yusuf Adedoyin Babatunde from Telecommunication Science, were rusticated for one academic session.
On Monday, Kunle Akogun, the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, revealed that the Vice Chancellor authorized the disciplinary procedures after the Students’ Disciplinary Committee recommended them on Friday, July 5, 2024.
