The 29-year-old man who took JAMB five times graduates after 10 years and celebrates.
Toheeb earned a second-class upper honors bachelor’s degree in agricultural administration from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria.
Toheeb told Legit that he was accepted to university 10 years after graduating. Beginning his education at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Nigeria, he earned a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology.
Toheeb, the eldest of 11 siblings in a polygamous household, wanted a university degree. He failed the JAMB five times but never gave up.
My first UTME was in 2012 when I applied to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic for Science Laboratory Technology. Toheeb said he entered ND in 2013 and graduated in 2015.
Toheeb saved for three years to attend university, despite his parents’ initial hesitation due to financial restrictions. He struggled to get into Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Lagos, so he switched to agriculture, which he loved.
He was accepted to Kwara State University for his desired subject in 2015 but had to drop out owing to finances. He got into the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.
Toheeb, who wanted to thrive and set an example for his siblings, succeeded intellectually, socially, politically, and spiritually throughout his six years at university. His next step is a master’s degree.
