Kewulere Babatunde is named president of the students union by KWASU.
In an election held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, Kewulere Abdulafeez Babatunde of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has been voted President of the Kwara State University Student Union.
Kewulere received 3848 votes out of 4632 cast, according to the report of the Students Electoral Committee, which was signed by the Secretary, Adegbola Abel, Ayomide, and the Chairman, Toheeb Olamide Kolawole.
Vice President Ireoluwa Oluwaseun Ogungboye was chosen, along with General Secretary Hameedat Oluwatimileyin Akanni and Treasurer Abdulquadri Abdulganiyu Babatunde.
The financial secretary, Bamidele Boluwatife Joseph, is one of the other elected executive officials.
The social director Akinmboni Marcus Olamide, the public relations officer Ezekiel Adeiza Aliyu, and;
Head of Welfare Khadijat Omobolanle Adeleke.
The others are Benita Ifunaya Frank, the second social director; Adegoke Uthman Adedapo, the welfare director; Nurudeen Teslimat Abiola, the assistant general secretary; and Ayodele Joshua Adedoyin, the auditor.
