UPDATED: UNILAG Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Form 2024/2025

The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has approved the sale of Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Application Forms for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Students interested in transferring between or within faculties are advised to review the eligibility criteria and follow the outlined procedures carefully.

Eligibility for Transfer

To qualify for an inter/intra faculty transfer, students must meet the following conditions:

• Present their academic results with a current CGPA.
• Have a CGPA of no less than 1.00.
• Possess the necessary O’Level or A’Level qualifications required for the desired program.
• Have successfully completed a minimum of 200-level coursework by the end of the 2023/2024 session.

Transfer Procedure

Eligible candidates should follow these steps:

1. Read the Guidelines: Ensure you meet the transfer criteria before proceeding.
2. Log into the Portal: Visit the UNILAG website (www.unilag.edu.ng) and access the Inter/Intra Faculty section of the portal.
3. Complete the Preliminary Form: Fill in the required fields.
4. Generate Payment Advice: Print the Payment Advice containing your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
5. Payment: Pay the transfer fee of ₦20,000 at any commercial bank.
6. Complete the Process: Return to your portal to print the Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Form.
7. Submit the Form: Attach your O’Level/A’Level results and Statement of Result to the completed form. Ensure it is signed by the current and proposed Heads of Department (H.O.D.) and Deans. Submit four copies to Academic Affairs, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG by the deadline of Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Transfers are allowed between the following faculties:

1. College of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy ➝ Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education (Science & Tech, Health Education, Human Kinetics), Faculty of Social Science (Department of Psychology)
2. Faculty of Law ➝ Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science, Educational Foundation, Educational Administration)
3. Faculty of Engineering ➝ Faculty of Business Administration (Actuarial Science), Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education (Science & Tech)
4. Faculty of Science ➝ Faculty of Social Science (Department of Psychology), Faculty of Business Administration (Actuarial Science), Faculty of Education (Science & Tech)
5. Faculty of Arts ➝ Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science)
6. Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration ➝ Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science, Educational Foundation, Educational Administration)
