Abdul Rahman appoints a new Chairman and Directors for the CPDD. The vice-chancellor has selected directors for two university centres.
The Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, said that the appointment of the new chairman of the CPDD is for a duration of two years, commencing on October 15, 2024.
Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman has authorised the nomination of Prof. Muhammad Tanko Aliyu as the Director of the Centre for Security Studies at the University.
Dr. Jude Chinedu Onwuka has also been named as the Acting Director of the Centre for Local Economic Development (CLED).
The announcement said that the appointment of the head of the Centre for Security Studies would last for two years, whilst the acting head of the Centre for Local Economic Development (CLED) would serve for one year. The two appointments commence on October 15, 2024.
