Notice of Commencement of Inter-Faculty and Inter-University Transfer Forms Sales for 2024/2025 Academic Session
The general public is hereby informed that sales of Inter-Faculty and Inter-University transfer forms for the 2024/2025 academic session at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) will commence from Friday, October 25, to Sunday, November 30, 2024.
Instructions for Application:
- Inter-Faculty Transfer
- Interested candidates should visit ABU Portal.
- Log in and select the “Inter-Faculty Transfers” option.
- The transfer form costs N3,000.00, payable via ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment at any commercial bank.
- Inter-University Transfer
- Interested candidates should visit ABU Forms Portal.
- Fill out the form and make a payment of N5,000.00 using an ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment at any commercial bank.
Important Requirements and Guidelines:
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed two consecutive academic sessions.
- Direct Entry Candidates: Must have completed at least one academic session (two semesters).
- Minimum CGPA:
- Inter-Faculty: 1.00
- Inter-University: 2.40
- Transfer Levels: Only from 200 level and above.
- Entry Requirements: Inter-University applicants must meet ABU’s minimum admission criteria.
- Ineligibility: Candidates expelled or withdrawn from other institutions are not eligible for transfer.
- Excluded Faculties: College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Faculty of Law do not accept transfer applications.
- Departmental Capacity: Transfer acceptance is contingent on department capacity limits.
