Ekiti State University (EKSU) has officially addressed an online advertisement regarding the commencement of its Pharmacy programme for the 2024/2025 academic session, clarifying that the advertisement is not from the university.
The management has dissociated itself from the misleading notice, emphasizing that the university is in the process of launching the Pharmacy programme.
A team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) has already visited the university for resource verification, and the result is still pending.
As the Pharmacy programme has not yet been approved by the NUC, advertising it at this stage is illegal, and EKSU has cautioned the public against falling for such fraudulent advertisements, which are likely the work of scammers.
The university reassures parents, guardians, and prospective students to stay informed through official channels when the programme becomes available.
