Lagos State University (LASU) has reached an impressive milestone in the 2024 Times Higher Education Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings, released on November 27, 2024. The university’s performance demonstrates its growing stature among both Nigerian and African institutions.
In the 2024 rankings, LASU achieved the following:
- Best State University in Nigeria
- Second Best Public University in Nigeria, following Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
- Fourth Best University in Nigeria among 37 institutions evaluated
- 30th Best University in Africa out of 129 institutions assessed
