FUL Student Daniel Dennis Oche Wins N2 Million at Kogi International Carnival
Daniel Dennis Oche, a 400-level Physics student at the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), has made headlines by winning ₦2,000,000 and additional cash prizes at the ongoing Kogi International Carnival 2024 in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
Popularly known as Dheneazi, Daniel secured the position of First Runner-up in the Kogi Music Talent Hunt, a major highlight of the carnival. Alongside the cash prize, he also received a $500 donation and funding for a music video shoot, courtesy of one of the event sponsors.
Speaking after his victory, an emotional Dheneazi described the experience as unforgettable, noting it was his first time competing in an event of such magnitude. He encouraged other university artists to embrace their talents and remain confident in their abilities.
The Kogi International Carnival 2024 continues to showcase diverse talents across the state, with Dheneazi’s achievement inspiring many young creatives to pursue their dreams.
