YSU Admission List 2024/2025 is Out

The Yobe State University (YSU) Admission List for the 2024/2025 academic session has been released. This is important information for UTME candidates who applied to YSU.

How to Check YSU Admission List

At this time, candidates can check their admission status only on the JAMB Portal using the following steps:

Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS Portal:

Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
Log in using your JAMB profile username and password.
Scroll down and locate the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
Click Admission Status or Access my CAPS.
Adjust your browser to desktop view (three-dotted lines at the top-right corner, then tick ‘Desktop site’).
Check your admission status:
- Case 1: Congratulations – Accept or reject the admission and wait for further instructions.
- Case 2: Admission in Progress – Check back in a few days or weeks.
- Case 3: Not Admitted – Stay hopeful, as updates may still follow.

Check Admission Status on YSU Portal:

The admission list will soon be uploaded to the Yobe State University portal. Once available, updates will be provided.

Important Instructions for Admitted Students

Log in to the JAMB CAPS Portal to accept or reject the admission offer.
If admitted on JAMB but not listed on the YSU portal, contact the admissions office.
Prepare the required documents for clearance:
- JAMB Original Result Slip (for UTME candidates).
- JAMB Original Admission Letter.
- YSU Admission Letter.
- Original credentials (SSCE results, Indigene Certificate, Birth/Declaration of Age, A’Level results for DE students).

Printing the YSU Admission Letter:

Visit the YSU Admission Portal.
Enter your JAMB Registration Number and RRR Code.
Proceed to print your Admission Letter.
