The Nigerian Army has awarded a full scholarship to Miss Christianah Obadare, a Faculty of Education student at the University of Ilesa, Osun State. This scholarship, granted under the Chief of Army Staff Special Scholarship Scheme, will cover her education until graduation.
Major General O.O. Onubogu of the 2 Division Headquarters, Nigerian Army, Ojoo, Ibadan, presented the scholarship at a ceremony attended by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Asaolu, and other officials.
The scholarship reflects the Nigerian Army’s dedication to supporting education and fostering academic excellence in the country. Major General Onubogu noted that the initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s educational development goals through NELFUND, a program aimed at enhancing learning opportunities nationwide.
