Joy Mojisola Raimi, a 24-year-old University of Port Harcourt alumnus, proudly represented Osun State at the grand finale, which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos, and she was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025.
With 37 competitors from all over the nation, the event honoured Raimi’s grace, tenacity, and dedication to charitable causes. Her influential endeavour, The Love for Humanity project, which aims to restore confidence in humanity and encourage kindness, made her stand out.

Silverbird Group founder Ben Murray-Bruce made the announcement on X, congratulating the newly crowned queen and praising her for overcoming a difficult upbringing to achieve national acclaim.
“Representatives of Imo, Ebonyi, Abuja, and Abia presented Raimi with intense competition in the final round,” Bruce said. “The judges and audience were moved by her inspiring story of overcoming bullying and personal loss.”
Raimi, who suffered abuse from a carer and lost her mother when she was a little child, talked about how those traumatic events strengthened her will to achieve.
She will represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant, which will take place in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to May 31. She currently holds the title of Miss World Nigeria. She will compete with athletes from 140 different nations.
