Oluwabunmi With a first-class degree in Actuarial Science and the greatest cumulative grade point average (CGPA) ever recorded in his department, Victor has created history at Ekiti State University (EKSU). He was named the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Management Sciences and the Department of Actuarial Science for the 2023–2024 academic year due to his outstanding academic achievement.

A healthy mix between demanding coursework and vigorous extracurricular activities characterised Victor’s path. In addition to holding leadership positions in a number of other academic organisations, he was the president of his campus fellowship and the vice president of the EKSU Tax Club. Interestingly, he was able to balance these obligations while studying for and sitting for his Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) exams.
Victor recognised the sacrifices and commitment needed throughout his academic career as he looked back on his accomplishments. “God is indeed a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him,” he said, attributing his achievement to heavenly help, hard work, and communal encouragement.
Victor’s tale is a powerful illustration of perseverance and dedication, showing how striking a balance between leadership responsibilities and academic success may result in amazing achievements.
