
Candidates enrolled in any institution but lacking a JAMB registration number can apply through JAMB Late Application (previously known as “regularization”).

The Regularization Process for JAMB
- If you are a new user, you must create a profile using the Sign Up (New User) Page. If you are an existing user, just enter your login information. You must provide your first and last name, mobile number, state and local government area of origin, password, and working email address to establish your profile. After that, click the Sign-Up button. There can only be one profile per candidate.
- After that, you’ll need to sign in with your email address and password.
- After logging in, all of the services that are available to you will be displayed on the main page.
- Choose “Retrospective (Late) Application.” You may find this in the sidebar.
- After being chosen, the “Late Application” menu item will become visible. Press this.
- A Transaction ID is generated for this service as soon as you pick it up. This will show up on the screen of the confirmation page.
- Examine the information on the Confirmation Page. Observe that the Transaction ID is shown in a bold red font. For all upcoming references about the Transaction, the Transaction ID is helpful. You will receive a copy of this Transaction ID at the email address you registered with.
- If you want to pay with your card right now, click the Proceed option. Please keep in mind that the Transaction ID will be needed if you want to use an ATM, cash at the bank, or Quickteller, among other payment methods.
- Enter your card information on the Interswitch Payment page and press the Pay button.
- The “My Payment Section” will show the status of your payment. Following payment, you will receive an email and SMS with your specific Transaction Identification and payment status. Press the “Continue” button.
- Following payment, you will need to submit the following information:
- Exam year (a) and JAMB registration number (b)
- The application form will appear after the information has been accurately entered. The application must be completed online. Kindly note that some fields are required.
- To finish submitting your application, click Submit.
- An indemnity form that can be printed will be shown after submission.
- Fill this out and bring it to your organization for approval.
- The approved form must be submitted by your institution to the JAMB state office.
- The approved form will be uploaded to your profile as soon as it is received. Once this is finished, You will receive a notification. Your application will now be processed by JAMB. Your information will be updated as asked if approved.
JAMB Registration for Students in Part-Time, Switched, and Distance Learning Programs
- This is to write to and notify all Part-Time/Sandwich students in all Nigerian Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, College of Education, etc.) that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has integrated the Part-Time Degree Program candidates’ admission process into the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to obtain accurate data of undergraduate students in all Nigerian Universities and other Tertiary Institutions.
- In light of the aforementioned, all part-time students registered in postsecondary educational institutions in Nigeria are advised to apply to register their documents individually by visiting the JAMB e-facility website right away.
- Every student is required to complete the JAMB Indemnity Form and complete the process at any authorized JAMB CBT Center.
- After the students have completed the form, it must be endorsed and signed by the dean of your institution’s School of Continuing Education (SCE) or Part-Time Studies before being sent to the JAMB headquarters.
- Students can visit the JAMB website to print their admission letters and obtain their unique REG numbers once the JAMB has approved their indemnification forms.

Potential Part-Time Candidates must first enroll with JAMB by purchasing the JAMB Part-Time / Sandwich / Distance Learning Form for Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only, before proceeding to purchase the appropriate institution part-time forms, if they wish to enroll in any of the Part-Time / Sandwich programs in any Nigerian Tertiary Institution.
