The University of Calabar has declared that a minor modification to the school charges for all of its undergraduate students has been approved. The University of Calabar Senate met in an emergency session on Friday, December 1, 2023, and decided to implement a minor upward revision, according to a release from the university’s registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe.
According to the statement, the upward review would be implemented starting with the academic sessions of 2022–2023 and 2023–2024. The message went on to say that upholding the university’s reputation for high academic standards and the current status of the economy made the decision made by its highest academic body necessary to approve.
Students were urged by the registrar to be aware of the increased fees and to start the registration process by utilizing the newly uploaded template on the university payment site. For 100L and 200L students, the fee portal connections are https://portal.unical.edu.ng; for 400L students and above, it is myunical.edu.ng; 300L students should use the payment portal from the previous session.
The University Scribe reports that management has made all the necessary preparations to guarantee easy course registration and payment. On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, the Registrar wishes a very calm, conducive, and trouble-free academic term to all incoming and returning students.
