
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has increased the admission quota for the Department of Nursing Science at Osun State University, a significant development that could improve healthcare education in the country. The letter highlights the council’s approval of the department’s new indexing quota and was written by Ndagi Alhassan, The Director (Nursing)/Head of the Standards and Accreditation Department of the Council, on behalf of the Registrar, Dr. Faruk Abubakar.

This accomplishment is especially noteworthy in light of the department’s sharply increasing admittance capacity. Two years before, the allotment was Seventy-Five (75). It quickly rose to One Hundred (100) and then to the current amount of One Hundred and Fifty (150).
