NAFDAC Registration Process – 2021
NAFDAC – the National Agency for food and Drug Administration and Control regulates and control the quality standards for foods, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, chemicals, detergents and packaged water imported or manufactured naturally.

Registering your product is the second most important thing after registering your company with the Corporate Affairs Commission popularly known as CAC. It is considered a criminal act to distribute any products in the above category in Nigeria without having a number issued by this body – NAFDAC.
The NAFDAC Requirements for production or importation of food, drugs, or consumable goods in Nigeria depend on whether such items are produced locally or abroad. The registration process for locally made goods is slightly different from that of imported goods. Although the registration process is plain, it has it’s hurdles so many people consult the help of private consultants.
