Heavy Rains Strand FULafia Students in Lecture Halls

Due to a week of intense rains in Nasarawa State, the lecture rooms of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) are now unavailable.

Numerous areas of the university campus are submerged, causing disruptions to academic operations and impeding access to classrooms.

Mr. Felix, a concerned student, requested immediate action from the school administration, explaining that the water has rendered many classrooms inaccessible, preventing us from attending lectures. The recent rainfall has been substantial, and we would like to request assistance from the school administration in addressing this issue. Our aim is to prevent further absences from classrooms due to flooding.

The incessant torrential downpours have compelled students to request aid from the university officials. Mr. Felix stressed the need of taking preventative steps to prevent future interruptions. He expressed the hope that the school administration immediately tackles this problem to prevent class cancellations caused by flooding.
