BIC and Ogun State Prepare 50,000 Students for Back-to-School.
A worldwide stationery company, BIC, has teamed with the Ogun State Ministry of Education to give 50,000 writing instruments to children to enhance learning environment for 250 million pupils by 2025.
BIC Nigeria’s business development head, Adeyemi Ojo, stressed the significance of offering student success tools and underlined the company’s joy in working with Ogun State.
The event also included Ogun State students Sarah Adelakun, who finished second in the National Anchor Competition, and Ayodele Babalola, who created a prototype ATM following a state-sponsored technical training program.
BIC also works with the Lagos State Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service to supply writing tools and assist educational progress in the area.
Beyond contributions, BIC supports education via teacher collaborations, classroom innovation, educator development, and student entrepreneurship. Its sustainable development initiative, “Writing the Future Together,” supports holistic education in Africa and Nigeria.
